MR/Gamma Phantom Test Results
30 May 2012 - Cubresa has completed a first round of testing showing MR/Gamma hybrid imaging capability with a resulting co-registered image. This testing occurred in Winnipeg at the NRC-IBD facility, using the Siemens 3T Trio. The testing used a NORAS patient rest system, and a breast biopsy immobilization system which held a phantom in the same position for both the MRI and gamma imaging. The phantom was provided by NORAS MRI Products. The gamma image was taken in the fringe field of the magnet within minutes of the MRI image sequence. The compact gamma camera, only 15X15mm on the front face, was inserted into the square grid. The location for the gamma camera is chosen in the same way as a needle block location is chosen. Please contact James Schellenberg, CEO of Cubresa, at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have an interest in discussing these test results.
John Saunders added to Cubresa Technical Advisory Board.
1 May 2012 - Cubresa is pleased to announce that John Saunders, Ph.D., Founder of Innovative Magnetic Resonance Imaging Systems and former CSO of IMRIS, has joined our Technical Advisory Board. We look forward to working with John again, and are certain of his contribution to improve breast care through better imaging. John joins Andrew Goertzen, Ph.D., MRRCP and James Schellenberg, Ph.D., Cubresa Founder and CEO, on the Technical Advisory Board.
